About
Originally from Las Vegas, Nevada, Natalie always had a primitive love for moving. At a young age, she began to train at Bunker Dance Center where she was able to work under artists such as Robert Contreras and Peter Chu. She worked closely with Jeanene Huggins at the Las Vegas Academy of the Arts where she graduated in 2019. Upon pursuing her BFA in Dance, Natalie concentrated her studies towards performance and creation. In addition, she also earned a Minor in English Studies to strengthen her passion for writing. Artists such as Marc Spaulding, Monique Haley, Wanjiru Kamuyu and Meg Paul inspired her to constantly desire and crave more of what dance has the potential to become. She developed a deep love for creating choreography and constructing work based on an abstraction of her personal human experience. She premiered her BFA Capstone piece, The Human Abstracted, this past fall and is looking forward to creating more pieces as her journeys within dance continue.
