Everything together all at once. The pelvis takes a plunge and the right elbow listens and responds. The head falls back, and the knees buckle in. As humans we are always in conversation with one another, yet as movers we are starting the conversation. The eyes trace the hand and the limbs crumble into the floor. A dialogue of bones, a communication of emotions, a questioning of being. How much can I say with a tilt of my head? What do I want to say? What does it mean when my shoulder lifts and my ear lobe meets it? Guided through this simplistic yet complex existence is where I lay my work. I make dances for people. I make dances for artists. I make dances for movement.
